How does daycare work?

plus sign

During your dog's evaluation day we will assess how your dog interacts with our staff, how they act during downtime and around other dogs.  Once we have an idea how your dog likes to play, they are grouped with other dogs that fit the bill.  Each group goes out to play for 1 hour followed by an hour and a half rest in their kennel.  We do this so dogs don't get overstimulated and to prevent incidents.  We repeat this cycle all day from 7am to 9pm.  Daycare hours are from 7am-7pm

Why does my dog need an evaluation day?

plus sign

We require all dogs to go through a half day evaluation day to make sure that their time here will be fun and engaging for them. WE LOVE DOGS and don't want to put dogs in situations they aren't ready to handle

How much is daycare?

plus sign

Daycare is $30/day unless you purchase a PawPass which reduces the cost per day.

How far in advance do I need to book my reservation?

plus sign

We recommend booking as far in advance as possible to ensure that we have a spot open for you.  We do occasionally have opening the same day, but to make sure your pup gets that fun filled day you promised, book as far in advance as you can.

Which vaccinations do you require?

plus sign

We require DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordetella.  If your dog's immunizations expired prior to getting them updated, there is a 48 hour wait period after the shot is administered. All vaccines must be administered by a vet.

How many dogs are there in a group?

plus sign

The exact number of dogs in a given group varies, but we do have an incredibly low staff to dog ratio.  Our ratio is 10:1 for big dogs, and 12:1 for small dogs.  Our competitors can often be closer to 50-100:1.  WOW!  We pride ourselves on making sure every dog is taken care of in the most humane way possible, and that means keeping our staff to dog ratio in playgroups as low as possible.
